"Reconnecting psychology to its ancient roots, Richard Katz, Ph. D., sensitively shares the healing wisdom of Indigenous peoples he has worked with, including the Ju/'hoansi of the Kalahari Desert, Fijians native to the Fiji Islands, Lakota people of the Rosebud Reservation, and Cree and Anishnabe First Nations people from Saskatchewan. The first DVD of the set contains a 45 minute documentary called "The Nature of Healing" which was filmed at a "Skills for Healing" weekend retreat in Nova Scotia in 2012. Also on this disk is a lecture entitled "Complete breast cancer care" an oncologist's view of how to get the best care from the medical system and how women can do to empower themselves at levels of body, mind and spirit.
