Also on this disk is a lecture entitled "Complete breast cancer care" an oncologist's view of how to get the best care from the medical system and how women can do to empower themselves at levels of body, mind and spirit. Abstract
This film follows the healing journey of retired nurse, Jackie Sawasy, who through a proactive 8 months, reveals how she overcame breast cancer. Initially detected by her Qigong therapist, Jackie decides to order her own mammograms. When the diagnosis is confirmed, she takes control and empowers herself through various holistic practices. This inspiring film supports the idea that breast cancer is not a death sentence.
