Abstract: Review some exciting results with mice which suggest that a simple change to a lower carbohydrate, higher protein diet reduces both the growth rate and incidence of tumours as well as increases the therapeutic effect of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents like Celebrex.; Provide update on recommendations that we change from our typical Western diet with it high sugar/complex carbohydrates to one higher in protein.
