Abstract

This film follows the healing journey of retired nurse, Jackie Sawasy, who through a proactive 8 months, reveals how she overcame breast cancer. Initially detected by her Qigong therapist, Jackie decides to order her own mammograms. When the diagnosis is confirmed, she takes control and empowers herself through various holistic practices. This inspiring film supports the idea that breast cancer is not a death sentence.
